Biography of Gita Gutawa
Gutawa is an actress, a talented singer who has a distinctive character, namely having a soprano voice, and an Indonesian songwriter. She is the daughter of the musician couple Erwin Gutawa and Lutfi Andriani. Since childhood Gita Gutawa is already familiar with the world of music.
Gita Gutawa likes music, so she likes to see her own father's shows. Besides that, Gita Gutawa was also supported by her father in the music world, not only that her father also guided Gita Gutawa until now.
Early life
Gita Gutawa was born in Jakarta, August 11, 1993, which was named Aluna Sagita Gutawa, by her parents, but is now better known as Gita Gutawa. Gita Gutawa is the first daughter of two siblings (Aura Aria Gutawa, sister), her father is a talented musician Erwin Gutawa and his mother named Lutfi Andriani.
Since childhood, Gita Gutawa likes to see her father's musical performances. Since childhood, he has been introduced to the world of music by his parents. He was registered at a classical piano course, not only the piano, Gita Gutawa also attended vocal courses to develop his soprano voice to be better.
Since he was in the second grade of elementary school he had begun to learn to play classical piano at the Jakarta Music Foundation. In addition, he also studied piano, jazz and guitar. While from the vocal side, Gita studied at Aida Swenchen (PSAI) and Catharina Leimena.
Gita received full support from her father, who also helped guide her in the world of music. In the Chrisye Decade concert, which often collaborated with his father, he was invited to appear on stage. Gita then says that Chrisye is one of his idols.
When entering Gita Junior High School attended Al-Izhar Middle School, unlike artists in general who were more educated at home because of their busy life. Gita considers that "attending ordinary school is more interesting", has many friends, and has the opportunity to socialize. While studying in elementary and junior high school, he was selected as the best student for five consecutive years.
After graduating from junior high school, Gita went on to Bina Nusantara High School. In 2009, Gita was chosen by the Sampoerna Foundation, which is run by investment company Sampoerna Strategic, as the first young ambassador to play a direct role in corporate decision making.
