Biography of Siti Nurhaliza
Siti Nurhaliza is a popular singer in Malaysia and ASEAN countries, even very famous in Indonesia. Siti was born in Kampung Awah, Temerloh, Pahang on January 11, 1979. At that time her father, Tarudin bin Ismail worked as a member of the police. while his mother, Siti Salmah Bachik was a housewife. The ideal of Siti Nurhaliza is to become a police officer. Being a singer artist had not been in his mind at that time.
Siti began her education at Clifford School, Kuala Lipis and continued her studies to intermediate to fifth level at Clifford Middle School, Kuala Lipis.
Siti first took part in a singing competition in her village when she was 12 years old and became a champion in the national day song contest. He sang the song Bahtera Merdeka and from there Siti dared to appear in public, especially in cultural events or carnivals in Kuala Lipis.
After winning the HMI Star Champion in 1995, the record company Suria Record invited Siti to become their recording artist. At that time, Siti was only 16 years old and still a student. Thanks to the support of his family, teachers and school friends, Siti can live life as an artist and student, without facing problems.
