Gladys (Midterm Test)

GLADYS

There were four sisters in a family. The youngest and smartest is Gladys. She had three sisters had done anything like sing in the toilet. their names are Mandy, Laura and Sam. They imagine if everyone's TV shows are watching. they also dreamed of what becoming a famous person.  They want to be a girl band , the personils are Mandy, Laura and Sam. They dont entice Glady because she is geek.

One Saturday night they were gathering in sofa and watched one of group famous band.

"they are on television, and like billions of people are watching them, and we are as good looking as them and can dance as well as they can. "
"But we can not sing," Gladys said.

Gladys  had not really thought about being in the band, but when they said that she was not in it, she felt, well, a bit left out. It was not fair. She could play the piano. If anyone was going to form a band, it ought to be her.

On Sunday afternoon, Gladys spent a lot of time on her homework, because she was working on a big project about Ancient Egypt and she had to research the pyramids on the Internet. Her three older sisters watched the music channel on TV and tried to copy some of the dance routines.

While they were talking, Gladys had been trying to imagine a name that both sounded good, and looked good when it was written down – like on a poster or an album cover.

When the others  quiet, she said: “I think, “chiX, spelt with a small c and a big X, because it is  a Chick Band and X looks like a kiss.”

Mandy searched iTunes and YouTube and she could not find any other band with that name. They could not think of anything else, so their name just sort of became 'chiX.'

After the band’s name was formed, now they discussed to make a song to sing.

“How could you write the lyrics for a song?” asked Laura. “You don’t know anything about relationships. You’re too young.” 

“But don’t you think
we’re an easy catch.
Don’t count your chiX
before they hatch!”

That were lyric of the song.

“hear, that good rhyme, and not too bad. Did you write by yourself Gladys ?” said Mandy.

“thats’s right“ she said and she wrote buttom the lyric : “Copyright Gladys Smith,” so that the others would not forget that she composed them.

So, they group already done. Now still prepare about the some instrumen music.
