Tulus has the real name Muhammad Tulus. He was born in Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia, right on August 20, 1987. He is currently 30 years old and is an Indonesian singer and songwriter. Although he was born in West Sumatra, he now lives in Bandung.

Tulus is an architect graduate after successfully graduating and earning a degree through Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung.

Since childhood, Tulus has been widely known when singing in jazz programs and campuses in the city of Bandung. He even joined Sikuai Band together.

Early in his career, Tulus released his first album with the title "Sincere" which was released in 2011. Rolling Stone Indonesia set this album as the Best Album in Indonesia. With this album, Tulus also received an award as the Best Rookie of the Year in 2013.

In 2013, he released his second album entitled "Gajah." This song was successfully sold 88,000 pieces and was one of the highest-selling albums in Indonesia (2014-2015).

The surprising results also came from this album, where the album "Gajah" from Tulus was the only album in Indonesian that managed to be in the 1st position of the best sales of Asia iTues album in 2 consecutive months since it was first released. This album uses the heading "Gajah" because this is Tulus's nickname when he was a child.

Complete Artist Biodata - In 2016, he released his third album entitled "Monochrome" which was officially released on August 3, 2016 under his own label Tulus Co. This album was released through all music stores in Indonesia and also released digitally in Malaysia.
