Biography of Selena Gomez
Selena Marie Gomez or familiarly called Selena Gomes is a young actress and singer born July 22, 1992 from partner Ricardo Gomez and former theater player Mandy Teefy. Selena also has a stepfather from her mother's second marriage in 2006, Brian Teefy.
As a child Selena has shown a love for acting when she watched her mother practice for theater plays. One day, Selena revealed to her mother that she wanted to realize her dream of becoming an actress. Apparently Selena was indeed very ambitious to follow in her mother's footsteps. He also made his debut as a young actress when appearing as Gianna on the children's TV series, "Barney & Friends" (2002-2003). Selena was then selected to star in her first feature film "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over".
Four years later Selena's name skyrocketed when she succeeded in reviving the main character Alex Russo on the TV series that aired on Disney cable TV channel "Ramona and Beezus". His acting skills can also be witnessed in several famous feature films such as "Another Cinderella Story" and the film which will air in 2010, "Ramona and Beezus".
Besides being proficient in acting, Selena also has singing talent. In 2008, Selena made her debut as a singer by bringing the single soundtrack to the film "Another Cinderella Story", "Tell Me Something I Don't Know". In order to develop his career as a singer, Selena also collaborated with the band The Scene and carried the stage name Selena Gomez & the Scene. On the way they released their debut album "Kiss and Tell (2009)" which sold more than 600,000 copies in the United States. Selena also collaborated with several young singers such as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers through a single titled "Send It On". The single is a national single which was included in a Walt Disney compilation album "Disney's Friends for Change" (2009).
Growing up, Selena's talents are now developing into business affairs. In October 2009, Selena announced that it would launch a recycling and eco-friendly clothing brand labeled "Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez". The label is planned to be released in the fall. Some of the products to be launched include t-shirts, shirts, bohemian dresses, jeans, jackets, scarves and hats. In his new endeavor, Selena collaborates with famous designers including Tony Melillo and Sandra Campos. According to Selena, the concept of her clothing product is intended primarily for young women who want to look beautiful and feminine but with a more natural style. While the reason for carrying out an eco-friendly theme is to improve the culture of loving the environment among young people.
