Rivers have a very vital role for human life, now there are many forms of utilization to meet various kinds of needs that benefit the surrounding community as well as for the wider community who share the benefits. The river is one form of natural wealth that has been used as a source of irrigation for agriculture, public transportation facilities, electricity generation, and fish farming.

Java Island certainly has many rivers and also the Bengawan Solo River is no stranger to be heard until there is one musician who created Kagu with the title "Bengawan Solo". and unexpectedly the Bengawan Solo River is the longest river on the Java island.

The Bengawan Solo River is the longest river on the Indonesian island of Java which has 2 upstream areas, namely from the Sewu Mountains, Wonogiri and Ponorogo, this river empties into the Gresik region of East Java.

This river has a length of approximately 548.53 km and flows through two provinces in Indonesia, namely the Province of Central Java and the Province of East Java.
